The Crown GL-40FE and GL-60FE are gas-fired, self-contained, full-jacket steam kettles that are AGA, CGA, and NSF certified, as well as ASME code stamped and National Board registered for quality and compliance. Constructed with a type 304 stainless steel exterior featuring a #4 sanitary finish, these kettles are supported by 6” (152 mm) stainless steel legs with flanged adjustable feet for secure placement and leveling. The high-efficiency stainless steel atmospheric tubular burners provide powerful, easily serviceable heating. The interior kettle liner is a one-piece all-welded construction made of type 316 stainless steel with a #4 sanitary finish for superior durability. Each unit is equipped with a 2” (50 mm) draw-off valve and a spring-assisted stainless steel cover for easy operation. The recessed control panel, conveniently located on the front for full visibility, includes electronic ignition, a direct immersion thermostat, water sight glass, cooking pilot light, vacuum/pressure gauge, and a low water indicator light for ease of monitoring. Safety features include a low water cut-off, pressure relief valve, pressure control, and a 100% safety gas shut-off valve, ensuring reliable operation. The kettle operates within a temperature range of 165°F to 265°F (74°C to 130°C) for efficient and precise cooking.
