The Crown Convection Steamers with two tilting kettles on a modular gas-fired steam boiler base are engineered for high-volume, commercial kitchens that require both efficiency and durability. Featuring a stainless steel type 304 exterior with a sleek #4 finish, this versatile unit is equipped with a deck-mounted faucet valve, swing nozzle, and an integral sink with a common drain, offering all-in-one convenience for seamless steam cooking. Each convection steamer is designed with doors that include a removable stainless steel inner liner and a full perimeter gasket seal to ensure a secure, airtight fit. The outer shell is crafted from a one-piece, all-welded stainless steel construction for maximum durability. The positive lock and seal mechanism, along with a stainless steel drip trough connected to the drain, effectively collects condensate when the doors are opened, keeping your kitchen clean and operational. Inside, each cooking chamber is made from all-welded type 316 stainless steel, fully insulated for optimal heat retention, and fitted with removable stainless steel pan supports for easy cleaning. The unit’s steamer controls are conveniently housed in a fully removable side panel for easy access. Each compartment is equipped with a 60-minute mechanical timer, along with ready and cooking pilot lights. Steam flow is automatically interrupted when the compartment door is opened during cooking and is instantly reactivated when the door is securely closed. At the end of each cooking cycle, an audible signal alerts the operator to ensure precise cooking times. The sturdy cabinet base features a full perimeter painted angle frame, reinforced kettle and boiler mountings, and hinged doors with magnetic latches for secure closure. The 6” (152 mm) stainless steel legs come with four adjustable flanged feet, allowing the unit to be firmly secured to the floor. Boiler controls include automatic water level control, a pressure gauge, water gauge glass, operating pressure control, safety high-limit pressure control, safety relief valve, and a cathodic protector, offering enhanced safety and performance. Certified to meet ASME standards and National Board registered, the unit’s boiler is equipped with a water treatment system, split water line, CSD-1 boiler controls, electronic ignition, and automatic blowdown, ensuring long-term reliability and efficient operation.
