The ES-30 and ES-40 are heavy-duty tilt skillets designed for efficiency and durability in commercial kitchens. Featuring a spring-assisted stainless steel cover with a full-width handle, no-drip condensate guide, etched gallon markings, and a vent port with a swing cover, these skillets offer both practicality and ease of use. The pan has a sloped front and is front-hinged for smooth tilting and pour control, complete with a removable pour strainer. Constructed from 10-gauge 304 stainless steel, the pan has a #4 finish exterior and a polished interior with coved corners for easy cleaning and long-lasting performance. The heating elements are embedded in a 1-3/8″ (35 mm) thick aluminum casting bolted to the underside of the pan, ensuring even heat distribution across the entire surface for consistent cooking results. The pan is mounted on a heavy-duty welded frame with a stainless steel exterior, supported by a 1-5/8″ (41 mm) stainless steel pipe frame with adjustable bullet feet. The rear legs are fitted with flange adjustable feet for secure floor mounting. The ES-30 and ES-40 units feature a permanently lubricated, self-contained gearbox tilt mechanism that allows the pan to tilt forward for easy and complete emptying of contents. The controls enclosure is designed to meet NEMA-2 standards, providing protection against dripping and light splashing. The intuitive control system includes a thermostat with an OFF position and a temperature range of 160°F – 445°F (71°C – 229°C), a thermostat indicator light, a pan tilt switch that shuts off the heating elements if the pan is tilted more than 5°, and a high-temperature cut-off set at 536°F (280°C), ensuring safe and precise operation. These tilt skillets are built for commercial kitchens that require efficiency, safety, and ease of use, providing reliable, high-performance cooking day after day.
