The GDA-2 and GDA-3 Compartment Cookers are versatile, high-performance cooking units with both pressure and pressureless compartments, powered by a gas steam boiler. These cookers are built with all-welded, satin finish stainless steel type 304, offering both durability and ease of maintenance. The doors are equipped with a removable inner liner made of aluminum plate and a full perimeter gasket seal, combined with an outer shell of one-piece, all-welded stainless steel. A reliable wheel-and-screw closing mechanism ensures secure door operation, with a clear opening size of 10-1/4” x 26-3/8”. Upon closing, the doors latch securely, and with a simple latch release, they open 15° for easy access. The GDA-2 features a lower compartment that functions as a pressure cooker, operating at a maximum pressure of 6 psi (41 kPa). The GDA-3 offers flexibility with an upper compartment that can be used as either a pressureless free-venting cooker or a pressure cooker, also operating at a maximum of 6 psi (41 kPa), depending on the operator’s selection. The control housing is constructed from durable stainless steel and features a full-access removable panel for ease of maintenance. Each compartment has independent automatic timer controls with both visual and audible signals. In the lower compartment and the pressure mode of the upper compartment, the controls automatically shut off, exhaust the incoming steam, drain condensate, and emit a continuous signal until manually turned off. In the pressureless mode of the upper compartment, additional features include a mode selector switch and a steam flow cut-off when the door is opened, enhancing safety and efficiency. The GDA-2 and GDA-3 are mounted on a robust cabinet base with a full perimeter angle frame, reinforced counter, and boiler mountings. The gas boiler comes with standard features such as automatic water level control, pressure gauge, water gauge glass, operating pressure control, and safety relief valve. The exterior is made of high-quality stainless steel, and the unit is equipped with hinged doors, 6” (152 mm) stainless steel legs, and four adjustable flanged feet for secure floor mounting. Standard accessories include a water treatment system, automatic blowdown, CSD-1 boiler controls, split water line, and electronic ignition, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
